The controller will recognize all physical drives at start up. To add physical drives to your configuration after the controller has started, follow these steps: IMPORTANT: Before adding physical drives that have previously been used by another ProLiant CL1850, it is necessary to delete any configuration settings on the drives. Failure to do so can cause conflicting RAID settings on the CR3500 controller. 1. Physically add the drives to the system. 2. Run the CR3500 Configuration Utility to configure the drives. NOTE: You cannot increase the capacity of an existing logical drive.
