Cluster Address A cluster address acts as a proxy, communicating with different servers in the cluster depending on the state of the cluster. A Compaq Insight Manager device using a cluster address may switch communication from one physical device to another, which may result in erroneous information being delivered. Consequently, Compaq Insight Manager does not allow management of a device that uses a known cluster address.
