Uninstalling the Applications and Device Drivers You may at times need to uninstall and then reinstall the applications to correct problems, change configurations, or make version upgrades. The following instructions tell you how to uninstall the applications in all Windows operating systems. 1. Close all audio card applications. This includes Creative Taskbar. Applications that are still running during the uninstallation will not be removed. 2. Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel. 3. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon. 4. Click the Install/Uninstall tab and select Sound Blaster Audigy. Click the Add/Remove button. 5. When the Creative Uninstaller dialog box appears, click the check boxes of the items you want to delete and click the Next button. The selected applications will be uninstalled. 6. Click the OK button. 7. If prompted, restart your computer. Reinstalling the Device Drivers You may want to reinstall only the device drivers because of driver corruption. 1. Insert the Sound Blaster Audigy Installation CD into your CD-ROM drive. The disc supports Windows AutoPlay mode and starts running automatically.
