Deck Lift Pedal 14 12 10 8 6 4 H 15 13 11 9 7 5 2 3 L The deck lift pedal is located near the front of the tractor on the left of the foot platform and is used to raise and lower the mower deck. The deck lift pedal has 17 positions including the transport position. Push the pedal forward and rock back to lock into the transport position, locking behind the notch on the front of the index plate. Remove and replace the lock rod into the desired height index hole, then push pedal forward and rock forward to unlock and slowly allow the pedal to move back until it reaches the lock rod. 12 Ignition Switch Module WARNING! Never leave a running machine unattended. Always disengage PTO, set parking brake, stop engine and remove key to prevent unintended starting. To start the engine, insert the key into the ignition switch and turn clockwise to the START position. Release the key into the NORMAL MOWING MODE position once the engine has fired. To stop the engine, turn the ignition key counterclockwise to the STOP position. CAUTION: Prior to operating the tractor, refer to both Safety Interlock Switches and Starting The Engine in the Operation section of this manual for detailed instructions regarding the Ignition Switch Module and operating the tractor in REVERSE CAUTION MODE.
