xStack® DGS-3600 Series Layer 3 Managed Gigabit Ethernet Switch The following parameters may be set or viewed: Parameter Description Dst. Protocol Src. Protocol Action Type Metric (0-16) Route Map Route Map Name Allows for the selection of the protocol for the destination device. Choose among RIP, OSPF, and BGP. Allows for the selection of the protocol for the source device. Choose between RIP, OSPF, BGP, Static and Local. Toggle the drop-down menu to Add or Edit the router redistribution setting being configured. Allows for the selection of one of six methods of calculating the metric value. The user may choose between All, Internal, External, ExtType1, ExtType2, Inter-E1, Inter-E2. Allows the entry of an OSPF interface cost. This is analogous to a Hop Count in the RIP routing protocol. The user may specify a cost between 0 and 16. Use the pull-down menu to add or delete a route map. Specify a route map, which will be used as the criteria to determine whether to redistribute specific routes. Enter the route map name to add or delete. Click Apply to implement changes made. To remove an entry from the table, click its corresponding under the Delete heading. NOTE: The source protocol (Src. Protocol) entry and the destination protocol (Dst. Protocol) entry cannot be the same. 180
