Using the Configuration Menu Tools > Time You will need to set the time zone corresponding to your location. The time can be set manually or the device can connect to a NTP (Network Time Protocol) server to retrieve the time. Enable NTP- (Network Time Protocol). Select to synchronize the time on the DI-714P+ to an NTP server. Set Device Date and Time- You can manually set the time on your network here NTP is short for Network Time Protocol, an Internet standard protocol that assures accurate synchronization to the millisecond of computer clock times in a network of computers. 31
