A.3 Installing or Replacing SATA Drives Removal of a populated drive/tray assembly can have unforeseen effects including the loss of all data in a volume. A drive can be part of a volume that may or may not be redundant. Before removing a drive from an operating xStack Storage Array, make sure it is the correct one.
