Prerequisites 1 Remove the battery. 2 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in "Removing the optical drive". 3 Remove the keyboard. 4 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 7 in "Removing the base cover". Procedure 1 Using your fingertips, carefully spread apart the securing clips on each end of the memory-module slot until the memory module pops up. 42
