Post-requisites 1 Replace the display panel. 2 Replace the display bezel. 3 Replace the display assembly. 4 Replace the fans. 5 Follow the procedure from step 2 to step 6 in "Replacing the palm rest". 6 Replace the keyboard. 7 Follow the procedure from step 4 to step 6 in "Replacing the hard drive". 8 Replace the base cover. 9 Replace the battery. 87

Align the screw holes on the display hinges with the screw holes on the
display back-cover.

Replace the screws that secure the display hinges to the display back-
cover.

Route the antenna cable and display cable through the routing guides on
the display hinges.
