Cloud Desktop Option Server Lookup Method Server Name Server IP Address Server Port Client Address Method Description • Enable Intel Virtualization Technology for Direct I/O - This option is enabled by default. This option specifies whether a Measured Virtual Machine Monitor (MVMM) can utilize the additional hardware capabilities provided by Intel Trusted Execution technology. The TPM virtualization technology, and Virtualization technology for direct I/O must be enabled to use this feature. • Trusted Execution - This option is disabled by default. Description Displays the service tag of your computer. Allows you to create a system asset tag if an asset tag is not already set. This option is not set by default. Controls the SERR message mechanism. This option is not set by default. Some graphics cards require that the SERR message mechanism be disabled. Description Specifies how the Cloud Desktop software will looks up the server addresses. • Static IP • DNS - This option is enabled by default. NOTE: This field is only relevant when the Integrated NIC control in the System Configuration group is set to Enable with Cloud Desktop. Specifies server name of the server. NOTE: This field is only relevant when the Integrated NIC control in the System Configuration group is set to Enable with Cloud Desktop. Specifies the primary static IP address of the Cloud Desktop server with which the client software communicates. The default IP address is 255.255.255.255. NOTE: This field is only relevant when the Integrated NIC control in the System Configuration group is set to Enable with Cloud Desktop . Specifies the primary IP port of the Cloud Desktop, which is used by the client to communicate. The default IP port is 06910. NOTE: This field is only relevant when the Integrated NIC control in the System Configuration group is set to Enable with Cloud Desktop. Specifies how the client obtains the IP address. • Static IP • DHCP - This option is enabled by default. 41
