(Main unit) • When turned clockwise 1 DIRECT 1 STEREO 1 DOLBY/DTS 1 5CH STEREO 1 MONO MOVIE MATRIX 0 VIDEO GAME 0 JAZZ CLUB 0 ROCK ARENA 0 • When turned counterclockwise DIRECT 0 STEREO 0 DOLBY/DTS 0 5CH STEREO 0 MONO MOVIE 0 1 MATRIX 1 VIDEO GAME 1 JAZZ CLUB 1 ROCK ARENA * To select the surround mode while adjusting the surround parameters, channel volume or tone control, press the surround mode button then operate the selector. (Main unit) 2 Press the SURROUND PARAMETER button. Press and hold in the surround parameter button to select the parameter you want to set. • The parameters which can be set differ for the different surround modes. (Refer to "Surround Modes and Parameters" on page 52. (Main unit) 3 Display the parameter you want to adjust, then turn the SELECT knob to set it. NOTE: • When playing PCM digital signals or analog signals in the 5CH STEREO, ROCK, ARENA, JAZZ CLUB, VIDEO GAME, MONO MOVIE or MATRIX surround modes and the input signal switches to a digital signal encoded in Dolby Digital, the Dolby surround mode switches automatically. When the input signal switches to a DTS signal, the mode automatically switches to DTS surround. 50
