Solutions to Common Problems 35 OVEN LIGHT DOES NOT WORK • Burned-out or loose bulb. Follow the instructions under Changing Oven Light to replace or tighten the bulb. fan noise during cooking operation • A cooling fan may automatically turn on and off to cool internal parts. This is normal, and the fan may continue to run even after oven is turned off. oven smokes excessively during broiling • Oven door is closed.
