LOW indicates data has been received and that the printer is ready to accept more data. A HIGH signal indicates that the printer cannot receive data. The signal goes HIGH in the following cases: 0 During data entry (for each character) 0 During printing 0 During off-line state Q During printer-error state A HIGH signal indicates that the printer is out of paper. Pulled up to +5V through 3.3 K ohm resistance. During the LOW state, the paper is automatically fed one line after printing. (The signal level can be fixed using SelecType.) Not used.
