Problem The print position is not what you expected (continued). Skip over perforation is set, but the perforation does not fall in the center of the skip. Solution The page length for continuous paper may be set incorrectly. Set DIP switches 2-l and 2-2 to the correct positions for the page length you want. See Chapter 3. If your program allows you to use control codes, you can also use the ESC C or ESC C 0 command to set the page length. See Chapter 9. The loading position of the paper may be too high or too low. Use the microadjustment feature to reset the loading position so that the perforation is centered within the skip area. See Chapter 3. Your application program may be setting the top and bottom margins. If this is the case, turn off skip over perforation by setting DIP switch l-8 to off. 7-14 Troubleshooting
