Deleting a Map You can remove maps to increase the available device storage. 1 Select Map Manager > Outdoor Maps+. 2 Select a map. 3 Select > Delete. Customizing Your Device Customizing the Main Menu 1 From the main menu, select > Main Menu > Main Menu. 2 Select an option: • To move a menu item, select a menu item, and select Move Up or Move Down. • To delete a menu item from the list, select a menu item, and select Remove. • To add a new menu item to the list, or to replace an item in the list after you have removed it, select Insert, and select a category. 3 To reset the order of all items in the menu, select > > Restore Defaults. Customizing the Favorite Bar You can add menu items or applications to the favorites bar that appears at the bottom of the home screen. 1 From the main menu, select > Main Menu > Favorites. 2 Select an option: • To add a new menu item to the list, select Add Page, select a category, and select the item. • To move a menu item, select a menu item, and select Move Up or Move Down. • To delete a menu item from the list, select a menu item, and select Remove. • To replace an item in the list after you have removed it, select Insert, and select a category. NOTE: The first menu item or application in the favorites bar displays on the home screen when the device turns on. Customizing the Data Fields You can customize the data fields and dashboards of the map, compass, elevation plot, and trip computer. 1 Open the page for which you will change the data fields. 2 Select a data field to customize. 3 Select the new data field. For data field descriptions, see Data Field Options, page 40. System Settings Select > System. Satellite: Sets the satellite system options. Language: Sets the text language on the device. NOTE: Changing the text language does not change the language of user-entered data or map data, such as street names. Mass Storage Mode: Sets whether your device goes into mass storage mode when it is connected to the computer. Broadcast Dog Data: Automatically sends dog data to compatible devices. Units: Sets the units of measure. Time: Sets the time zone and format. Customizing Your Device 29
