Chapter 3: Getting Started To turn on the pen lost alarm: 1 As soon as your convertible notebook starts and you see a startup screen, press F2. The BIOS Setup utility opens. 2 Open the Advanced menu. 3 Highlight Pen Lost Alarm, then select Enabled by pressing the spacebar. 4 Open the Exit menu, then highlight Exit Saving Changes and press ENTER. Adjusting the volume You can use the volume control to adjust the overall volume of your convertible notebook. To adjust the overall volume level using hardware controls: ■ If you are using external speakers, turn the knob on the front of the speakers. -ORUse the five-way switch. To turn on the pen lost alarm:

As soon as your convertible notebook starts and you see a startup

Adjusting the volume
You can use the volume control to adjust the overall volume of your
