CHAPTER 3: Upgrading Your Computer Installing memory When you upgrade the computer memory, make sure that you install the correct type of memory module for your computer, or it will not fit into the memory slot. Your computer uses notebook (SO-DIMM) memory. To install or replace memory: 1 Open the back panel by following the instructions in "Opening and closing the case" on page 46. The computer should be face-down on a soft, stable, non-marring surface before continuing. 2 Find the memory module banks on your system board. 48

Installing memory
When you upgrade the computer memory, make sure that you
