Trim kits and decorator panels. 3/4 ″ (19 mm) or Raised Panel A raised panel design screwed or glued to a 1/4″ (6 mm) thick backing, or a 3/4″ (19 mm) routed board can be used. The raised portion of the panel must be fabricated to permit clearances of at least 2″ (5.1 cm) from the handle side for fingertip clearance. Panels thicker than 1/4″ (6 mm), up to 3/4″ (19 mm) max., will require that the outer 5/16″ (8 mm) of panel perimeter be no thicker than 1/4″ (6 mm).
