microSD Card Using Your Device as a USB Drive You can use an installed microSD card as a USB flash drive, allowing you to take pictures, music, documents, and other files with you on the go. To use your microSD card as a USB flash drive: ᮣ Whenever you connect your device to your computer, the Connect to PC screen will be displayed. Select Disk Drive mode on this screen. - or - Slide to the Settings tab, tap Other > USB to PC and then select Disk Drive mode. When Disk Drive mode is enabled while your device is connected to the computer: Ⅲ You will not be able to use your device to access files from the microSD card or run applications that are installed on the microSD card. Ⅲ Your computer will connect only to the device's microSD card. When you access your device from the computer, you will only see the contents of the microSD card. Remember to change back to ActiveSync mode when you need to synchronize data between your device and your computer. Section 2G. microSD Card 99
