Using RSS Hub RSS Hub is an RSS reader that keeps you up-to-date with the latest news from the Internet. It monitors Internet news channels and downloads the most current news updates and podcasts so you are instantly informed of breaking news and events. This section provides basics on using RSS Hub. For more information and tips on using RSS Hub, see the RSS Hub Help on your device. Tap Start > Help, tap Help for Added Programs, and then tap RSS Hub. Note Make sure you have an active Internet connection before using RSS Hub. To find out how to connect to the Internet, see "Ways of Connecting to the Internet" on page 146. Subscribing to and Organizing News Channels You must subscribe to news channels before you can receive RSS feeds. To subscribe to news channels: 1. Tap Start > Tools > RSS Hub, and then tap Continue. 2. On the New Channel Wizard screen, select the Choose from a list of known Channels option, and then tap Next. A list of RSS channels is displayed. 3. Channels are grouped by categories. To select all channels in a category, select the category check box. You can also select the check boxes of individual RSS channels that you want to subscribe to. Note If the RSS channel you want to subscribe to is not in the list of known channels, tap Back, and then select another option on the New Channel Wizard screen. Subscribing to and Organizing News Channels
You must subscribe to news channels before you can receive RSS feeds.
To subscribe to news channels:
1.
Tap
Start > Tools > RSS Hub
, and then tap
Continue
.
2.
On the New Channel Wizard screen, select the
Choose from a list of known Channels
option, and then tap
Next
. A list of RSS channels is displayed.
3.
Channels are grouped by categories. To select all channels in a category, select the category check box.
You can also select the check boxes of individual RSS channels that you want to subscribe to.
4.
After selecting the desired channels, tap
Finish
.
5.
The list of your selected channels appears. Tap
Refresh
to update the channels.
Note
Make sure you have an active Internet connection before using RSS Hub. To find out how to connect to the
