SNMP configuration The XP family of disk arrays and the SVS 200 support standard Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) for remotely managing arrays. The SNMP agent on the service processor (SVP) performs error-reporting operations requested by the SNMP manager. SNMP properties are usually set from the SVP but they can also be set remotely using XP Remote Web Console, XP Command View (XP arrays only), or XP Command View Advanced Edition Software. Refer to the applicable user's guide for procedures. To use XP RAID Manager you must designate at least one LDEV as a command device.
