Restarting the Linux server To recognize the new device(s), restart the Linux server as follows: 1. Power on the display of the Linux server. 2. Power on all devices other than the Linux server. 3. Confirm ready status of all devices. 4. Power on the Linux server. Verifying new device recognition 1. Verify that the FCA driver is installed using the lsmod command. 2. View the device information in the /proc/scsi/scsi file. Restarting the Linux server
To recognize the new device(s), restart the Linux server as follows:
1.
Power on the display of the Linux server.
2.
Power on all devices other than the Linux server.
3.
Confirm ready status of all devices.
4.
Power on the Linux server.
Verifying new device recognition
1.
Verify that the FCA driver is installed using the
lsmod
command.
2.
View the device information in the
/proc/scsi/scsi
file.
