Turning on the monitor

IMPORTANT: If you are using a DisplayPort cable as your signal cable, you must also attach a USB cable between the USB Type-B connector on the back of the monitor and USB connector on the source device. NOTE: Not all cables shown in this section are included with the monitor. - Connect one end of the DisplayPort signal cable to the DisplayPort connector on the rear of the monitor. Connect the other end of the cable to the DisplayPort connector on the retail system computer (1). Connect the USB Type-B end of the cable to the USB Type-B connector on the retail system computer. Connect the opposite end of the combination cable to the USB Type-B port and the power connector on the rear of the monitor (2). IMPORTANT: Burn-in image damage might occur on monitors that display the same static image on the screen for 12 or more hours. To avoid burn-in image damage, you should always activate a screen saver application or turn off the monitor when it will not be in use for a prolonged period of time.
