Table 1-2 Front components and their descriptions Component Description (1) Power button Turns the monitor on or off. NOTE: When the monitor is turned on, the light on the power button turns on. (2) OSD buttons Open the OSD menu and make adjustments to monitor settings. (3) Headphone jack Connects optional powered stereo speakers, headphones, or an audio cable. This jack does not support optional standalone microphones. Rear components To identify the components on the rear of the monitor, use this illustration and table. Table 1-3 Rear components and their descriptions Component Description (1) USB connector (downstream) Connect USB devices to the monitor. (2) USB connector (downstream) Connect USB devices to the monitor. (3) USB Type-B connector Connects a USB Type-B cable. (4) DisplayPort connector Connects a DisplayPort cable. (5) Power connector Connects a power cord. Locating the serial number and product number Depending on the product, the serial number and product number are located on a label on the bottom of the monitor or on a label under the front bezel of the monitor head.
