External Device Connections Using the Security Slot The security slot on the computer allows you to physically secure the computer. To use the security slot: 1. Loop the cable around a secure object. 2. Insert the locking device 1 into the security slot 2. 3. Turn the locking device 3 clockwise 90 degrees.
