Chapter 3 Conversion: Install Components, Cover, and Front Bezel Install Chassis Retention Bracket when Shipping an HP Rack For the HP rack, the rack nuts for the chassis retention bracket were installed on the right rear rack column. For the HP rack, install the chassis retention bracket and secure the NetServer to it, as follows: 1. Position the bracket as shown in Figure 3-9. Install Chassis Retention Bracket when Shipping
an HP Rack
For the HP rack, the rack nuts for the chassis retention bracket were installed on
the right rear rack column.
For the HP rack, install the chassis retention bracket and secure the NetServer to
it, as follows:
1.
Position the bracket as shown in Figure 3-9.

NOTE
The Chassis Retention Bracket is only required for shipping the
system in an HP rack.

Fasten the bracket to the rack with the two 10x32 screws.

Fasten the bracket to the NetServer with the two 6x32 screws.
For the HP rack with an anti-tip foot, retract the anti-tip foot if other components
will not be extended from the front of the rack.
