Preparing the System
Perform the following steps to prepare the system for the CD-ROM drive installation:

Determine the existing SCSI address settings currently in use on your system.
Before installing the drive, determine which SCSI ID address settings are already
being used on your system by completing the following steps:

If you are using HP-UX 9.x, enter the following at the prompt:
/etc/ioscan –d scsi
RETURN
If you are using HP-UX 10.x, enter the following at the prompt:
