Reads optical discs and, on select models, writes to optical discs. Flashing-Accessing the optical drive. NOTE: The computer has two power lights. The other power light is on the top left of the computer. ● On-The computer is on. ● Flashing-The computer is in Sleep. ● Off-The computer is off or in Hibernation. ● White-The hard disk drive is active. ● Amber-The hard disk drive is parked. ● White-The computer is connected to external power and the battery is fully charged. ● Amber-The computer is connected to external power and the battery is charging. ● Off-The computer is not connected to external power. Connects an AC adapter. Connects an optional security cable. The security cable is designed to act as a deterrent, but might not prevent the computer from being mishandled or stolen. Components 9
