3. Unplug the power cord from the AC outlet. 4. Turn the computer upside down on a flat surface. 5. Remove the battery from the computer. Slide the battery release latch (1) to loosen the hard drive cover. b. Pull away the hard drive cover (2). 7. If you are replacing a memory module, remove the existing memory module: a. Slide the battery release latch
