Virtual Serial Port (G7 servers) The Virtual Serial Port option assigns the logical COM Port number and associated default resources used by the Virtual Serial Port (VSP). The VSP enables the ILO Management Controller to appear as a physical serial port to support the BIOS Serial Console and the OS serial console.
