Global Nameserver Display CLI command

The

show nameserver

command provides a simple way to display a complete nameserver database

for a fabric. The command displays information from the nameserver database for devices attached to

the switch when DID (destination domain ID) is not speci

fi

ed. If DID is speci

fi

ed, the local nameserver

database entries for the speci

fi

ed domain are displayed. If the parameter is all, then all of the nameserver

database entries for all the domains in the fabric will be displayed.

Route Table Display CLI command

The

showRouteTable

command displays routes for speci

fi

ed online ingress port to speci

fi

ed domains in

the fabric. This is listed under show commands and has the syntax

show.fabric.showRouteTable

.

This capability can be used for advanced troubleshooting and analysis; particularly when debugging

device connectivity problems.
