Save your work and close all open programs. 2. Click Start, click the arrow next to the Lock button, and then click Shut Down. 3. Close the display. 4. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 5. Unplug the power cord from the AC outlet. 6. Turn the computer upside down on a flat surface. 7.
