See page 1-13 for information about the meaning of Notes. A mouse and SVGA color monitor using a resolution of at least 800 x 600 with 16-bit color are also required. Motherboard Compatibility The Adaptec controller requires a motherboard BIOS that: ■ Complies with the PCI Local Bus Specification, Revision 2.2 and higher. ■ Supports multifunction devices where one of the devices is a PCI bridge. ■ Provides large memory-mapped address ranges.
