Modem and Networking To connect the network cable: 1. Plug the network cable into the RJ-45 (network) jack 1 on the notebook. 2. Plug the other end of the cable into an RJ-45 network wall jack 2. ✎ Your notebook is equipped with LAN Power Save mode, which enables you to conserve battery power. LAN Power Save mode turns off the LAN device when the notebook is not connected to external power and the network cable is disconnected.
