Enabling Network Time Protocol NTP is a protocol designed to synchronize the clocks of computers over a network. There are numerous servers available on the Internet that are synchronized to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). To enable NTP: 1. Select Enable Network Time Protocol. 2. In the NTP Server box, type the IP address of the NTP server you want to use to set the time on the thin client. For NTP to function properly, the date on the thin client must match the date on the server. 3. Click Apply. Administrator's Guide www.hp.com 4-3
