PLAYING A DISC Repeat • REPEAT is available only during playback. REPEAT TITLE / CHAPTER DVD To activate the repeat function, press REPEAT during playback. • The repeat mode changes as described below every time you press the button. CHAPTER TITLE (current chapter repeat) (current title repeat) OFF (repeat off) Random Playback (CD) CD This shuffles the order of tracks instead of playback of in the original sequence. 1 In stop mode, press MODE twice. RANDOM • RANDOM screen appears. CD-DA TOTAL 0:45:55 2 Press PLAY to start random playback. RANDOM PROGRAM --no indication-- PLAY NOTES: • Repeat Title/Chapter is not available on some scenes. • The REPEAT setting will be cleared when moving to other titles or chapters. TRACK ALL (current track repeat) (entire disc repeat) OFF (repeat off) NOTE: • The repeat setting will be cleared by moving to another track. MP3 TRACK (current track repeat) GROUP (current folder repeat) ALL (entire disc repeat) OFF (repeat off) Program (CD) NOTE: • To repeat the current track in the random selection, press REPEAT repeatedly until TRACK appears during playback. To repeat the entire random selection press REPEAT repeatedly until ALL appears during playback. MP3 Playback MP3 Insert an MP3 disc, then press MENU to call up the MP3 menu on the TV screen. 1 In stop mode, press K or L to select the desired group or track. • If a group is selected, press Bor ENTER to go to the track selection screen. (Program cleared) • Up to 99 programs can be entered. • To repeat the current track in the program, press REPEAT repeatedly until TRACK appears during playback. To repeat the entire program press REPEAT repeatedly until ALL appears during playback. • To erase all programs at once, select ALL CLEAR and press ENTER at step 2 . NOTES: • Folders are known as Groups; files are known as Tracks. • Folders are accompanied by icon. • MP3 files are accompanied by icon. • Maximum of 255 folders can be recognized. • Maximum of 512 files can be recognized. • Up to 8 hierarchies can be created. For best results use files recorded at these specifications: • Sampling frequency: 44.1kHz or 48kHz • Constant bit rate: 112kbps ~ 320kbps. - 12 - EN
