Alert Message High Temperature Low Temperature Heat Pump Heating System Cooling System Auxiliary Input Filter Change Power Outage Table 1. Alert Messages. Possible Cause The room temperature exceeded the high-limit temperature setting. The room temperature exceeded the low-limit temperature setting. A heat pump compressor fault occurred. The system heat output is below the acceptable performance; possible heating system failure. The system cool output is below the acceptable performance; possible cooling system failure. The auxiliary sensor connected to the auxiliary input terminals tripped. The thermostat is indicating that a filter change is required for the heating/cooling system. A power outage exceeded the maximum allowable time. ACKNOWLEDGING ALERT MESSAGES You will hear, "To acknowledge the alert message, press 1." After the alert message is announced, the Telephone Access Module prompts you to acknowledge the alert message by pressing 1. If there is more than one active alert message, the Telephone Access Module indicates the next message, and continues until all alerts are announced. When you acknowledge the alert message, you are clearing the dial-in alert message and also clearing the dial-out alert. IMPORTANT: After receiving an alert, it is important to take appropriate action immediately. See Receiving Dial-Out Messages section for more information on dial-out alerts.
