You can change the default phone lock code (1234) to any numeric string of four to eight digits. To change the phone lock code, do as follows: 1. In standby mode, select Menu > Settings, press (Options), select Go to to access the menu, then select Security settings > Change password > Phone password. 2. Input the old password. 3. Input the new password twice. Do remember your phone lock code. If you forget it, contact the service center. Mass Storage When the phone is connected to a PC through a USB cable, the options including Mass storage are displayed on the phone screen. When you select Mass storage, you can manage the files stored on the phone and the microSD card. The microSD card and the phone memory appear as removable disks on the PC. You can perform the following operations: 1. Double-click a disk to open it. 2. Copy, paste or delete files on a disk. 3. Disconnect the phone from the PC.  Ensure that you connect and disconnect the USB cable properly.  Do not use format command attempts to format the phone memory on a PC; otherwise, it may lead to permanent damage.  The USB cable supports both data transfers and charging functions. 9
