Managing Apps Installing apps Use the Windows app store to install a wide variety of apps and games. Before installing apps, you will need to connect to the Internet and sign in with your Microsoft account. 1 In the Start menu, touch the Windows Store tile. Alternatively, touch the Windows Store icon in the taskbar. 2 Follow the onscreen instructions to sign in with your Microsoft account. 3 Search for the app that you want to install.
