Invacare® Bariatric Bed 1. Stand or prop each bed end in an upright position on its legs. 2. Using a mild soap/detergent and soft bristle brush or sponge, scrub all exterior surfaces. 3. Using a hose and nozzle attachment, rinse bed ends thoroughly with plain cold or warm water. Do not exceed a water temperature of 110° F. Use household tap pressure. DO NOT use pressure washers or steam cleaners. 4. Tip bed end from side to side to allow any collected or trapped water to drain. 5. Thoroughly towel dry bed end and all components. 6. Repeat drying process until all components are dry. Ensure that the bed end is completely dry before storing. Cleaning the Head and Foot Sections 1. Unplug the power cord of electric beds before performing maintenance. 2. Wipe down the bed with disinfectant.
