14.2 Service Indicator Error Codes  For the following table, refer to FIGURE 6.1 on page 25. 14 TROUBLESHOOTING FLASH 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 DESCRIPTION Batteries need charging. Low battery voltage. Battery voltage too high. Motor current error. Brake release lever is disengaged. Throttle control lever not in neutral. Throttle control lever malfunction or speed pot error. Motor problems. Other internal errors. MEANING Recharge the batteries. Refer to Removing/Installing the Batteries on page 35. Recharge the batteries before using. Refer to Charging the Batteries on page 40. Check battery condition and connections. Contact a qualified technician to check your battery charger. Scooter has drawn too much current. Verify there are no objects blocking the tires. Engage the brake release lever. Refer to Engaging/Disengaging the Brake Release Lever on page 26. Turn the key off, then on to reset. If this does not correct the problem, contact a qualified technician. Turn the scooter power off, verify the throttle control lever is in the center position, and turn the power back on.
