SECTION 6-ARMS USING ARMREST ƽ WARNING Make sure the armrest release lever is in the locked position before using the wheelchair. DETAIL "A" FRONT OF WHEELCHAIR Unlocked Position Armrest Release Levers Unlocked Position NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 6.2. 1. Unlock the flip back arms by rotating the armrest release lever towards the outside of the wheelchair as shown in Detail ʺA" in FIGURE 6.2. 2. Pull the front of the flip back arm straight up/out of the arm socket and towards the rear of the wheelchair. 3. To use the flip back arm, push the swing‐back arm towards the front of the wheelchair and then downward into the arm socket. 4. Lock the flip back arms by rotating the armrest release lever towards the inside of the wheelchair. Right side and left side are determined by sitting in the wheelchair. REMOVING FLIP BACK ARMREST 1. Unlock existing armrest assembly by flipping the arm assembly release levers located on the side rail to the UP (horizontal) as shown in Detail ʺAʺ. 2. Pull up on the existing armrest to remove from the arm socket. 3. Repeat STEPS 1‐2 for opposite side of wheelchair, if necessary. 4. Install the new/existing armrest on to the wheelchair. Refer to in this procedure of the manual. INSTALLING FLIP BACK ARMREST 1. If necessary, unlock new/existing armrest assembly by flipping the arm assembly release levers located on the side rail to the UP (horizontal) position as shown in Detail ʺAʺ. 2. USING ARMREST

WARNING
Make sure the armrest release lever is
in the locked position before using the
wheelchair.
NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE
6.2.
1.
Unlock the flip back arms by rotating
the armrest release lever towards the
outside of the wheelchair as shown in
Detail
ʺ
A” in FIGURE 6.2.
2.
Pull the front of the flip back arm
straight up/out of the arm socket and
towards the rear of the wheelchair.
3.
To use the flip back arm, push the
swing
back arm towards the front of
the wheelchair and then downward
into the arm socket.
4.
Lock the flip back arms by rotating the
armrest release lever towards the
inside of the wheelchair.

REMOVING FLIP BACK ARMREST
1.
Unlock existing armrest assembly by flipping the arm assembly release levers located
on the side rail to the UP (horizontal) as shown in Detail

2.
Pull up on the existing armrest to remove from the arm socket.
3.
Repeat STEPS 1
2 for opposite side of wheelchair, if necessary.
4.
Install the new/existing armrest on to the wheelchair. Refer to in this procedure of the
manual.
INSTALLING FLIP BACK ARMREST
1.
If necessary, unlock new/existing armrest assembly by flipping the arm assembly
release levers located on the side rail to the UP (horizontal) position as shown in Detail

2.
Install new/existing armrest assembly into the arm sockets.
