Preparation English Preparation Do not turn on the power until you complete the connection. Connecting the antennas AM loop antenna (supplied) Setting up the AM loop antenna FM antenna (supplied) Main unit (rear view) FM antenna Stretch out the FM antenna horizontally. If insulation covers the tips of the antenna cable, twist and pull off the insulation. Connecting the AM loop antenna Main unit (rear view) If reception is poor Main unit (rear view) 75 Ω coaxial connector (not supplied) Outdoor FM antenna cable (not supplied) NOTE • A coaxial cable is recommended as it reduces interference for FM reception. Turn the AM loop antenna to find the best position for radio reception. NOTE • Make sure that the antenna conductors do not touch any other terminals. This could cause poor reception. 5
