English Hands-Free Unit Control Editing the Phone Book You can edit data you have registered in the Phone Book. 1 Select an item you wish to edit Name See the (see page 80) and select an item you wish to edit on the Phone Book List screen. All entry number are cleared if this key is touched more than 1 second. 3 Returns to the Phone Book List screen. 4 Enters the phone number. 3 Enter a phone number 0- 9 4 Register the phone number Ok The phone number is registered, the Edit Name ("Name Edit") screen appears. The digits, accent and extended code characters, and alphabets are switched each time it is pressed. 3 Scrolls the keyboard display. 4 Enters a character. 5 Clears the character. All entry characters are cleared if this key is touched more than 1 second. 6 Enters the entry characters. 7 Returns to the Edit Phone Number ("TEL Number Edit") screen. 8 Enters a space. The extended code characters are displayed only when a cellular phone supporting the GSM alphabets is connected. Each of extended code characters occupies a two-character memory space when registered. 5 Enter a name a etc. 6 Register the phone number Ok The editing completes and the Phone Book data is updated. 82 English
