Radio Traffic Information (FM only) You can listen and watch the traffic information automatically when a traffic bulletin starts. However, this feature requires a Radio Data System that includes the TI information. 1 Touch [TI]. Radio Setup You can set tuner related parameters. 1 Touch [ ]. hhTraffic information mode is set. ÑÑWhen the traffic bulletin starts The Traffic Information screen appears automatically. NOTE • It is necessary to have Traffic Information function set to on in order to have the Traffic Information screen appear automatically. • The volume setting during reception of traffic information is automatically stored. The next time the traffic information is received, this unit recalls the volume setting automatically. • To cancel Traffic Information: Touch [Cancel]. hhRadio Setup screen appears. 2 Set each item as follows. ■■[NEWS] (FM only) Sets a news bulletin interrupt time. Default is "OFF". ■■[AF] (FM only) When station reception is poor, automatically switches to the station that is broadcasting the same program over the same Radio Data System network. Default is "OFF". ■■[Regional] (FM only) Sets whether to switch to the station only in the specific region using the "AF" control. Default is "OFF". ■■[LO.S] (FM only) Turns the Local Seek function on or off. ■■[Auto TP Seek] (FM only) When traffic information station reception is poor, automatically searches for a station that can be received better. Default is "ON". ■■[Language Select] (FM only) Selects a display language for the PTY function. ■■[Aerial Control] Allows you to turn off the Radio Data System function to prevent the motor-driven antenna from extending. Default is "ON". 48
