40 Playback of disc Basic play Preparation Turn on the POWER. 1 Load a disc. MAIN UNIT 1 Open the tray. 2 Place a disc. 2 Start playback. MAIN UNIT REMOTE TOP MENU key Various playback functions DVT-6200 (EN/K,E,X) Disc tray 6 PLAY/PAUSE key 7 (Stop) key 3 (PLAY) key POWER ON/ OFF switch 7 STOP key 0 OPEN/CLOSE key Label side TITLE No. (DVD) Time display CHAPTER No. (DVD) Operations or ÷ When the 6 key, 3 key or open/close (0) key is pressed while a tray is open, the tray closes automatically, and then playback begins. To pause playback MAIN UNIT REMOTE TRACK No. (CD/VCD) Note When a Disc Menu appears on the screen In case of interactive DVDs, a Disc Menu appears on the screen. Then press ENTER to select specific menu you want to play by using Cursor keys. To stop playback MAIN UNIT REMOTE 7 ÷ Each press the PLAY/PAUSE ÷ Press the 8 (pause) key on key on the main unit, pauses the remote. and plays the disc alternately. When a menu screen is recorded on the DVD disc, the menu screen will be displayed when the TOP MENU key or MENU key is pressed. At the menu screen, the menu can be selected by pressing the Cursor keys. or INTRO SCAN RESUME playback (only DVD) When the 7 (Stop) key has been pressed once during playback to stop the playback, and then playback is started again, play will start from the point where the playback had been stopped. This is called the RESUME function. When the 7 (Stop) key is pressed again during stop, the RESUME function is cancelled.
