47 Convenient CD recording XD-SERIES (En) Giving preference to the tape length over the title sequence (CD EDIT) When the tape recording time is specified, recording is executed with changing the title sequence so that no title will be interrupted when the tape direction is changed at the end of one side. When equalizer or another effect is applied to the sound, the sound with the applied effect can be re- corded. p Recording preparations are required. º (Steps 1 to 3) (For the reverse mode, select " p" (two-way recording).) 1 Press the DUBBING key. Preparation section Basic section Application section DUBBING 2 Select "CD EDIT" and press the SET key. 1 2 MULTI CONTROL SET 3 Select a disc and press the SET key. 1 2 MULTI CONTROL SET CD ONE TRACK RECORD (Only during CD playback) CD RECORD CD EDIT CD PGM RECORD CD EDIT TAPE DUBBING (Only when the selected input is TAPE and tapes are present in both decks A and B) DIsC 2 ÷ Even if the disc has already been selected, select the disc again. 4 Set the tape length (recording time) and press the ENTER key. 1 2 MULTI CONTROL C-60 Automatic editing of tape sides A and B ENTER ENTER 5 Start edit recording. Press the ENTER Key. ENTER Press the CD PGM key twice to cancel CD EDIT. EDIT A T 01 123 ÷ The tape and CD stop automatically when recording has completed. ÷ Press the stop (7) key to stop recording in the middle. ÷ If you commit an error in the time entry, restart the procedure from step 1. Note Depending on the combination of conditions from CD contents (number of titles and length of the titles) and tape recording time, interruption of a title may not be avoidable. In such a case, the respective title will not be recorded. Knowledge sections
