Replacing the flatbed cover If the flatbed cover needs to be reinstalled or replaced, use the following procedure. 1. Remove the flatbed cover from the scanner by lifting the flatbed cover straight up. 2. Install the new flatbed cover by aligning the pins into the holes on the scanner base and setting the flatbed cover into place. Locking the scanner The TWAIN Datasource provides a Lock camera option which moves the camera into position before physically locking the scanner with the shipping switch. ISIS does not provide this option. For TWAIN datasource users follow the procedure below. 1. Turn on the host PC and start the Scan Validation Tool.
