User box setting 8 External Memory Functions Settings This operation enables or disables functions using an external memory connected to this machine. Select a function, and then [ON] or [OFF]. Item Save Document Print Document Description With [Save Document] in User Box mode, enable or disable the function to save documents scanned into the external memory. With [Print Document] in User Box mode, enable or disable the function to print/transmit documents saved in the external memory. ! Detail Saving document to an external memory is disabled (cannot be saved) at factory default.It is also disabled (cannot be saved) in the user function setting when the user authentication is specified. To save a document to an external memory, change the Administrator Settings to allow documents to be saved in an external memory. ID & Print Delete after Print Setting After completion of the printing of documents saved in the ID & Print User Box, a setting is made to decide whether or not the deletion is to be confirmed. - When confirmed with the user while in deletion, select [Confirm with User]. - When deleted with no confirmation made after printing, select [Always Delete]. Document Delete Time Setting A setting is made to decide whether or not the user is allowed to set a time required for the deletion of documents saved in the box. - When the user is not allowed to set a time for deletion, select [Yes]. User box setting

External Memory Functions Settings

This operation enables or disables functions using an external memory connected to this machine. Select a

function, and then [ON] or [OFF].

Detail

Saving document to an external memory is disabled (cannot be saved) at factory default.It is also

disabled (cannot be saved) in the user function setting when the user authentication is specified. To

save a document to an external memory, change the Administrator Settings to allow documents to be

saved in an external memory.

ID & Print Delete after Print Setting

After completion of the printing of documents saved in the ID & Print User Box, a setting is made to decide

whether or not the deletion is to be confirmed.

When confirmed with the user while in deletion, select [Confirm with User].

When deleted with no confirmation made after printing, select [Always Delete].

Document Delete Time Setting

A setting is made to decide whether or not the user is allowed to set a time required for the deletion of

documents saved in the box.

When the user is not allowed to set a time for deletion, select [Yes]. The deletion time is set by the
