4.1 Turning the Power Switch ON or OFF 4 4 Turning the Power ON or OFF 4.1 Turning the Power Switch ON or OFF 1 Connect the Power Cord to this machine. 2 Connect the Power Cord to the power outlet. 3 When turning the main power on, press n of the Power Switch. This displays the screen showing that the machine is running the start-up process. When the main screen appears, this machine is ready to operate. 4 When turning the main power off, press o of the Power Switch. NOTICE While printing, do not turn the Power Switch off or press the Power key. Otherwise, it may lead to a paper jam. If the Power Switch is turned off or the Power key is pressed while this machine is running, the system deletes the currently loaded data or communicating data as well as queued jobs. When restarting this machine, turn the Power Switch off and on again after 10 or more seconds have elapsed. Not doing so may result in an operation failure. [Introduction] 4-2
